Group Ignis comprises 3 likeminded individuals with the burning passion to serve. All of us have one common goal, which is to become a beacon of light to all of our peers and make Hwa Chong a home for all.
Ignis, meaning fire in latin, represents our passion. The passion to serve Hwa Chong as an individual and a collective student body. The fire that we light will be a beacon of light for our peers to get through Junior College, guiding them through the 2 years with our Hwa Chong spirit. In addition we hope to create the warmth of a family, so that Hwa Chong is a home for all.

A patient listener and firm believer of altruism, Chuan Yang is deeply passionate about serving the student population. While the former HCINPCC Vice Chairman may look like he’s deep in thought 24/7, he is in fact a fun-loving person who is willing to go the extra mile, just for you!
Ng Wan Qing, Adele
Adele is a positive individual who strives in everything she does and takes pride in serving the school she is in! Regardless of rain or shine, Adele will be there to cheer you up! She may not sing as well as Adele, but she’ll promise to serve the school well!
Priya Dharshini D/O Chockalingam
Beyond all the awkward smiles in the posters, Priya is a loving person who is always willing to listen to you. She is a bubbly and is an open person who can nearly strike a conversation with anyone! She maybe just the kind of friend you are looking for!
