The theme for this year's Open House is 'Coalescence', bringing together friendships, dreams, and talents. We hope to show Hwa Chong as it is in all our hearts; a place where we can put aside our differences and come together as a whole, where our aspirations converge and where the possibilities are endless.

 

Hwa Chong is a beacon for students from all walks of life, where everyone can come together to pursue their interests and passions. Some of us might have hailed from completely different backgrounds, with different stories to tell, but our journey here in Hwa Chong will not be a one-man's path, but a common tale, one with our best and worst moments - a story that lies in between textbook pages and beyond to the very people we share them with.

 

Much like the process of coalescing, the school brings together intrinsically unique individuals, tapping on all their various personalities, experiences and skill sets to create something beyond what any individual is capable of achieving. Our unique Hwa Chong spirit – a warm and homely feeling – is a unifying bond that connects every student. Each individual will be provided ample opportunities to grow in his or her own capacity and potential.

 

The spirit of togetherness forged in these opportunities enable us to become bigger-hearted and even better than before, as everyone works hand in hand to push their limits and achieve new heights – as one.
